Forget everything that you think you know
In the continuing trailer releases for Marvel movies, we got the first trailer in teaser form for the upcoming theatrical release for Dr. Marvel starring Benedict Cumberbatch. It is a pretty straightforward trailer with his origin story and the dilemma he faces when he is introduced to this world. Having recently watched the animated version of the movie, I see a strong resemblance in this trailer and cant wait to watch the entire film to see how it turns out.
As far as trailer content, I loved several of the quotes including about a man looking through a keyhole and trying to widen it. I liked this one in particular because when mixed with the visuals, it reminded me a lof of the chat between Morpheus and Neo from The Matrix.

Coming up on the season 6 premiere for Game of Thrones, a second trailer has been released and is packed full of just about every main character still alive and foreboding of the war to come. We have action shots of the undead (aka White Walkers), Tormund Giantsbane, and Jaime Lannister. We also have Bran tied up to a tree in warg mode, Arya Stark in the person-without-a-face mode and Tyrion imparting his own version of wisdom to Daeneryss council who herself is under some sort of questioning from the Dothraki. We also get confirmation that Jon Snow is dead in the opening shots to the trailer but also the red witch still at Castle Black. Since the book is not yet out, how all the different factors come together is still in question but everyone has their own agenda and an axe to grind with other characters and families.
