(Life of an Accounting Droid) Life of an Accounting Droid X-Men Apocalypse Official Trailer #2 03/17/2016

  • About the trailer

Today, the second official trailer to X-Men Apocalypse was released which featured more scenes from the movie. But rather than focus solely on the X-Men, this trailer shifted focus to Apocalypse and more on his four horsemen and their powers. We did get additional scenes of the X-Men and the need for them to fight which included a new scene of Cyclops using his power but also a scene of a Ghostbusters style proton pack beam going through an unrecognizable person while Professor X is using Cerebro.

(How It Stacks) #57 The Legend of Zelda

It's dangerous to go alone, take this

Grab your sword as you join the terrible 3! They are reunited as The Professor returns and the guys cover The Legend of Zelda. You can tell that The Professor missed the mic as he lets loose right out the gate with his memories of the most epic of games. JD helps the guys remember what it was like to rent games. Bulldog admits things were hard back then. Things get fuzzy when The Professor tries to explain the Zelda timeline. JD drifts away as he hunts down the answer to a question that will eventually lead to a classic JD versus the tag team of The Professor and Bulldog. This is a huge topic making this episode a tough one for some of the crew!

(The Geek I/O Show) The Geek I/O Show #144: Rant and Review: CT:HR - Sword of Destiny: "My Weeaboo is Showing"

This week on The Geek I/O Show, were reviewing another Netflix original.  This time we watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (our longest title ever)!  It was definitely okay.

We discussed CJ drooling, too much blazing flame, the five iron amigos, crouching Tigger, hidden Pooh, Leo the metal guy, we make them pretty down under, The Transformers: Jem and the Holograms, kung fu movie tropes, what the wine was asking, and a special visit from the voice of Netflix.  Plus!  The sword of destiny is a machete!

Join us on the Geek I/O Rant & Review, wont you?  Its better than putting the sword in the snake hole.

(Life of an Accounting Droid) Life of an Accounting Droid Captain America Civil War Trailer 2 (03/10/2016)

Today we got a new trailer for Captain America Civil War and it did not disappoint. In this trailer, some of the footage that we've seen is expanded a bit including Stark's conversation with Captain America about punching him in his teeth and how War Machine's armor gets damaged. Additionally, we get a preview of Black Panther in his fight with Bucky and attempting to catch Captain America on his motorcycle. There is also a brief scene of what looks like Scarlett Witch overwhelming The Vision. The best part of the trailer in Marvel form is the closing scene where we see the latest iteration of Spiderman stealing Captain America's shield.
